Lambaste the pests of this world!
Run through the mud the scum of the earth!
Humiliate the would-be somebodies who mock their fellow human beings for daring to be braver than they are!
Three good causes championed by THIS VERY BLOG!
Enjoy - especially if you're one of the pests EXPOSED HERE! Believe me - you DON'T want to tick me off and wind up exposed here!
What's worse than
standing idly by as ''nature follows its course'' (even though household pets have no business messing with wild life) allowing savage beasts to slaughter a cub here, a baby calf there and the like, perhaps also
videotaping it for morbid fascination and pseudo-science purposes? I'll tell you what is worse: perpetrating said unnecessary and pointless evil ourselves. Such is the
raison d'être of this ''G.O.A.'' right here: an inhumane
needless bloodsport that serves absolutely no purpose at all in the Cycle of Life - or quite simply the food chain either. (It never does; especially when it is
morons trying to figure out what the proper food chain is all about. But that's another story.)
Hence, in this world of acronyms, let it be made clear right off the bat that this ''G.O.A'' here stands for
Guild Of Assassins - and that said unofficial but very self-righteous nonetheless (and would-be sanctimonious) guild congregated here recently;
These assassins do not kill rival predators or hunt to sustain themselves - what they do is just for the SPORT of it. And me, I call that disgusting, sick fun.
I invaded the premises of this ''G.O.A.'' Fair - and what I saw was frankly appalling indeed. As always, actually, it was appalling to the utmost; otherwise it wouldn't wind up here, on this particular blog, now would it...?
All these nature destroyers who would dare to pass themselves off as nature lovers - all these murderers who want to massacre needlessly as well as pointlessly in the greatest comfort, disturbing the serenity of poor innocent animals who hunt merely to
survive and
on that instinct of survival alone - while they hunt for perverted pleasure, "recreativity" and "the outdoors" - so they say! In any other case it would be a HOME INVASION with EXTREMELY MALICIOUS INTENT - but since moose, deer, bears and other critters can ill-afford legal eagles, and since their population has to be culled anyway and kept in check, always, it all passes: murder, slaughter, cruelty.
And then, they bring the cadavers home and have them STUFFED for trophy-preservation sake! Aye, the corpse of the animal who NEVER SAW IT COMING is a TROPHY - a reminder of a great triumph, aye! Great deeds, tough guys - try nailing the bear when it mauls you, the moose when it gores you or the deer, er, when it dares you? THEN it might be some kind of an "achievement" pal - THEN,
not before!
Speaking of the stuffing though (they thought of everything at that "fair" or "salon" or "exposition" or "excursion" as they even attempted to call it - sheesh) they had those excruciating "experts" on hand too: at least two such experts in
taxidermie - whose slogan for the profession should be: "
you kill it; we'll stuff the stiff for ya!" - and make it look good forever more, as he strikes a far more menacing pose than that he was in when he got shot dead! I say "he" - it could have been a "she" - and a pregnant female too. After all, do hunters really
give a damn - ever?
Fishermen are another breed - there are some sporting fanatics who actually release their catch after luring it into what could be certain doom with the most tantalizing of baits... I always hated the expression "hook, line and sinker". Always hated baiting too - others' baiting, at any rate. If I ever am caught baiting, it is because I have a damn good reason to do so, pals! And I pick fights only with the absolute creeps who deserve it and have it coming - hence the very existence of the very blog that you are presently reading here! But I am digressing again... Back to the fisher's case: although another breed, they also managed to appall me by having a pool-full of trout transported to the site here - so the visitors could have fun
at the cost of 5$ a trout. I couldn't believe it - why were there no elephant safaris down a corridor at a buck per bullet to shoot the pachyderm - that would have been equally sporting! Don't laugh: there was a stand there about safari trips too...
All in all, appalling is the more-than-befitting adjective here: it is always disgusting to see any corporate hypocrite use a cute animal likeness to sell its crap, while the company cares not one iota about the well-being of said animals and the preservation of their natural habitats. Here, it is an enhanced nausea, to the infinite degree; for, as you saw, their choice of critter for a mascot was the unsuspecting
raccoon:
And there isn't one of those brutes with guns, fishermen included, that would flinch even for a second at shooting a raccoon dead - for they are nothing but nuisances for their comfort in the great outdoors, see? They come from polluted urban settlings, invade a pure habitat that they've forced into shrinking more and more with each decade, and they want not a single of the true locals to bother them during their polluting stay. What's more, they feel entitled as "experts" (see the "salon expert" label on the pic?) and also by the very Word of God - as man shall have dominion over beasts. Right.
Only thing is, goofballs-who-should-stick-to-paintball (also present at the fair here, aye) the Word of God is for the man who respects nature, God's Creation, and all of its creatures. It does not apply to brainless, soulless pukes who get their kicks killing the defenceless, with government approval (since the "industry" here saves the government some culling costs -the culling and keeping-in-check that we were talking about earlier; plus it rakes in additional bucks, big bucks -not merely the deer carcasses- for all those licenses and such derivatives) - all the while spouting out such atrocities as
Calisse, Osti, Tabarnak at a rate of 1000 words per hour - or so it seems. So many abominations uttered by such abominable individuals - may they all be surprisingly ambushed by a pack of Abominable Snowmen one of these days when they go a-hunting (or bigfoot, yeti, sasquatch, wendigo, skunk-ape or whatever the Canadian equivalent really is...!)
I swear to you - these types will be held accountable for their cruelty towards these creatures: for it may be sanctioned and approved of by man's law, but it is not by the True Law - God's.
Enjoy all that outdoors fun while you can, murderers!
Soon the fresh air will no longer be yours to enjoy - as it is, your bringing your pollutive ways with ya wherever you may go, it is only a question of time your murderous ways have you guilty by default of much, much more still...
But that is another story to be explored on another blog - asap!
